101 Things You Didn't Know About Me
 1.  I am a Christian, a devoted follower of Jesus Christ.

 2.  I asked Him to come and live within my heart when I was six years old.

 3.  I am NOT a morning person.

 4.  I like a little coffee with my cream and sugar.

 5.  I have one brother.

 6.  I am the youngest child in my family.

 7.  I love to sing.

 8.  I used to be a first soprano.

 9.  I play the violin and a bit of cello.

10.  I always wanted to learn to play the piano.

11.  I listen to Contemporary Christian Music.

12.  I listen to Praise and Worship Music.

13.  My favorite musical artist is Steven Curtis Chapman.

14.  I attended two elementary schools in two states.

15.  I attended one middle school.

16.  I attended three high schools in the same state.

17.  I have lived in (for six months or more) six states.

18.  I have lived in two countries.

19.  I have visited eight states.

20.  I have visited four countries (besides the two I lived in).

21.  I have passed through (usually involving a single night's stay while driving through) nine states.

22.  I have passed through an additional two countries.

23.  My first child was conceived in one country and born in another.  We moved when I was six months pregnant.

24.  My second child was conceived in one state and born in another.  We moved when I was five months pregnant.

25.  I served in the United States Air Force for four and a half years.

26.  I love Lavender Roses and Daisies.

27.  I have never smoked.

28.  I have never done illegal drugs.

29.  I enjoy taking pictures.

30.  I am pretty good at it!

31.  I am a Stay at Home, Homeschooling Mom.

32.  I am currently ranked a Junior in College.

33.  I flunked out of my First Freshman year.

34.  I was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder at age 28.

35.  I have been pregnant three times, given birth twice, and have the priviledge of raising one child.

36.  I have had an early miscarriage.

37.  I have lost one daughter to a random genetic disorder called Trisomy 18.

38.  I am blessed to be able to watch my son continue to grow and thrive.

39.  I am overweight (but still fabulous).

40.  I have a terrific sense of humor, although it is a bit cerebral for some.

41.  I love acting silly with my son.

42.  I adore reading.

43.  I think about the past and future, but try to live here and now.

44.  I believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God.

45.  I believe in the Holy Trinity:  God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

46.  I look forward to spending eternity with my family in heaven.

47.  I am NOT organized.

48.  I would rather give things away to those who need them than sell them.

49.  I love pearls.

50.  I prefer colored gemstones even to diamonds.

52.  I wear yellow gold, not white gold, not silver.

53.  I wore braces on my teeth for five years.

54.  I got them off four days after my Senior Prom.

55.  I went to the prom with a friend.

56.  My Mom and I used to share clothes when I was in High School.

57.  I graduated when I was 17.

58.  I got married at 24.

59.  I had my first child at 29.

60.  I let my little girl go when I was 33.

61.  I would rather participate in sports than watch.

62.  I have pierced ears (just one hole in each ear).

63.  I don't think children should have televisions or internet capable computers in their rooms.

64.  I do believe in spanking when the child does something he knows is against the rules or when he smarts off (talks back).

65.  Most of the time, I try to use "logical consequences" to their actions.

66.  I was never a Girl Scout growing up.

67.  I was a Girl Scout Leader when I was single and in my 20s.

68.  I took Baton Twirling lessons when I was 6 - 7.

69.  I was pretty good.

70.  I was a Cheerleader in 9th and 10th grades.

71.  I was on three different yearbook staffs.

72.  I was Captain of the Volleyball team in 10th grade.

73.  I learned to ride a two wheeler when I was six.

74.  I can't swim, though I know how to doggy-paddle.

75.  I am a mutt.  I have at least seven different nationalities represented within my veins.

76.  I am one-quarter Dutch.

77.  My Mother's Father immigrated to the United States with his parents when he was nine.

78.  I have been to the small Dutch town in which he was born.

79.  I never got to meet him.

80.  My father's mother thought she was too young to be called "Grandma," so we called her "Mum-z."

81.  She is the only grandparent I have left and I haven't seen her since I was seven.

82.  My parents divorced when I was six.

83.  My current step-father is eight years older than me.

84.  I like horseback riding.

85.  I have NO sense of direction.

86.  I would rather tinker and putz around and do things myself.

87.  It is not easy for me to ask for help.

88.  I am five feet five inches tall.

89.  I have a few stray gray hairs starting to come in.

90.  So, I'm old enough to know better than to tell you my age.

91.  I love to garden.

92.  I adore animals of all kinds.

93.  We currently have four pets.

94.  I like things that make my house smell good.

95.  Two of my favorite artists are Thomas Kinkade and Lena Liu.

96.  I collect Butterflies, since they remind me of my daughter.

97.  I love seascapes by Roy Gonzalez Tabora.

98.  I am learning to build webpages.

99.  I am learning to play with Paint Shop Pro.

100.  I have been known to practically talk the wall paper off the wall...

101.  Yellow is my favorite color.
